Competition Rules
- Overview
- The Homebrewer of the year competition is a points-based bragging rights competition. There are four popular vote club meeting competitions worth up to 5 points each, two public competition opportunitiues worth up to 5 points, and 3 bonus points for bringing in non-competition month beer styles.
- Club Meeting Competition Details

- Each month breaks down to 5 points for 1st place, 4 points for 2nd place, 3 points for 3rd place, and 1 point for all other entries.
- Public Competition Opportunities
- Red White and Brews and Pacific brewer's Cup
- Points earned as follows: Full 5 points for a first place beer, 4 points for each 2nd place beer, 3 points for each 3rd place beer, and 1 point for entering but not placing for any of your entries.
- Maximum points allowed: 5 for each competition
- Bonus Point Opportunities
- Bring in the style/theme of the month in any non-competition month.
- Must bring example of the listed style or theme of the month.
- Months not included: February, May, August, November, and December.
